     Prior to Ares Arcanum
     The daughter of a renowned general and a beautiful singer, Rinoa was born with a rebellious streak. Unable to answer to authoritative figures, she began a resistance team for the less fortunate in the town she chose to stay in, Timber. Hoping to break against the militia opposition, she took to hiring a group of mercenaries called SeeDs to help her. In this, she found Squall Leonhart, Zell Dincht, and Selphie Tilmitt. They were later joined by Irvine Kinneas and Quistis Trepe as well.
     Not adverse to magic, Rinoa took the powers from a dying sorceress and became one in consequence, opening herself up to the role of a damsel in distress. A distant being from the future possessed her and used her in accomplishing her own method of turning the world into her own little paradise. This sorceress, Ultimecia, compressed time in order to meet her own accomplishments and was later dispersed by the SeeDs and Rinoa.
     It was implied towards the end of this pathway that there was a vague romantic interest between Rinoa and Squall, as well as a prior one between Rinoa and Seifer Almasy, Squall’s eternal rival. You will come to find, however, that this did not come to pass.

     Ares Arcanum Events
     Drawn from the bustling world she thought she knew, it came as no big surprise when Rinoa found herself on Mars. After being on the moon and even drifting through space, it was simply one other place with a sky that wasn’t blue. Along with her came Irvine, Squall, and Seifer.
     Under the impression that she had become a burden to them, or that her friends for one reason or another disliked her, she labeled herself a pariah and shut them out of her life, though it didn’t last for long. She found herself restricted by the rules Ares Arcanum set down. Through a series of requirements, she met a man by the name of Albel Nox and fell in love with him after two years of being acquainted with him.
     She was selected as a competitor in the Dancing with the Stars show that was specially aired. Her professional partner was Diego Armando, the man who demanded that she call him Godot. She was considered one of the best contestants on the show.

     Post Ares Arcanum
     Rinoa returned to Timber after she was released from the grasps of Ultimecia, her fears of being used again placed at an uneasy rest. She returned to her desire to help Zone and Watts restore peace to the Forest Owls and other resistance members.
     The invitation she received in the mail was thought to be a ploy from General Caraway. Under the belief he was implying that she was lacking in tutelage, she decided to accept in an attempt to prove him wrong. Leaving by way of the Timber station, she found the new pathway to take.

     A woman who is desperate to show the world how great she can be has no idea what she is about to embark on. Nor does she seem aware that she will very soon cross paths with someone she doesn’t remember for the life of her.

Note: Rinoa’s memories of Ares have faded and will require a reminder of the past. She is played as canonically as possible, minus that obnoxious nagging that everyone seems to get on her about.
